HOW TO BAIT UP A BEACH WORM FOR MULLOWAY
Date: JULY 2021
Fishing for Mulloway off the beach is a lot of fun and there is a technique to it. These fish love to lie in the beach gutters at night during various stages of the tide, they lay on their side emitting a smell that attracts beach worms out of the sand, it’s then when they swing around and eat them. Baiting up a Tweed Bait Beach Worm on a large single hook, threading it up over the eye and onto the trace or just bunching it onto the hook is a sure way to get that bite of a lifetime. Mulloway caught off the beach often weigh around 8 to 15kilograms. However don’t be surprised if a larger 20kg plus specimen takes to you for walk up the beach.
